Padrón Dojo (formerly Oyama Juku) has been in operation since 1994 and is the first school of Kyokushin in the State of Ohio with direct lineage to the founder of Kyokushin Karate. We offer structured classes for children, teen, and adult. Learn the skills and techniques of full-contact fighting karate as taught by Soshu to gain the confidence needed to defend yourself and face your attackers when confronted. Develop coordination, agility, balance, speed, and strength, through the physical fight training. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will be taught the basic to advanced techniques of our style of karate and achieve your goals in martial arts. Strengthening your physical abilities, increasing your skill level and mind set as you learn to challenge yourself and reach beyond your limits to overcome obstacles.

To provide authentic Japanese fighting karate the way Sosai Mas Oyama and Soshu Shigeru Oyama intended. Our school is deeply connected to the surrounding communities through our relationships with local schools and recreation centers. We aim to empower individuals, to discover themselves through the practice of karate that has been passed down from our mentors. To provide training in a safe environment that is inspiring, integrating old and modern training concepts that aims to build self esteem and confidence within our students to become contributing individuals in the community through the training of Kyokushin Karate.

Leo Padrón, a 7th Dan is the founder of the US. Seireikaikan Karatedo Organization. With 45+ years of training has made him one of the most requested instructors of "Street-Defensive Fighting" in the U.S. His teachings are the result of his continuing study of Karate. He has trained under the leading Kyokushin masters in the U.S. and Japan and he truly believes in the complete meaning of the Ultimate Truth through the way of karate. His passion for real karate and the fundamental elements of his mentors shines through his teachings in Seireikai Karate Kyokuishin, his BUDO KARATE.

The ZEN-KEN/SEIKEN; The logo is a very important symbol to our organization. It is worn on the left sleeve of the members. The symbol represents what our karate has become today. Description listed below the symbol.
#1 The GLOBE represents that martial arts is for everyone, without biasness and prejudice .
#2 The SEIKEN (Fist) thrusts forward, representing an empty hand prepared for battle in the fight for justice.
#3 The GLOBE & Seiken are encircled by a red “ENZO” (Zen circle), symbolizing continuity of movement and mind. The ENZO is a also a symbol of yielding to the Fist, a reminder to the practitioner to keep from misguided actions through the martial arts.
#4 The KANJI that is on the sides of the symbol says "LION", this is the spirit of Kancho-Shihan Padron, the President and founder of our school.
